Mobile Air Traffic Control Towers - from Host Systems

|
Introduction
Whether
for an emergency, security or temporary airfield/port control, HOST
mobile control towers are the solution.
Irrespective
of the cause of an ATC failure, this can produce enormous disruption
and cost to airports and in certain cases affect regional economies.
Our mobile towers can be made operational within an hour by four
people therefore minimising disruption and lost revenue.
Being
fully mobile and not needing a specialist towing vehicle means the
tower can be regularly moved around the airport to minimise the
possibility of its location being known to undesirables. Standby
ATC facilities, because of the type threat, must be kept away from
the main tower to avoid a double hit; this applies to fire risk
also.
Each
system is bespoke in order to meet precisely the operational requirements
of the user; therefore we try to match systems fitted with those
in current use at your airport.
The
mobility of the system also allows for sharing by several airports
and in fact be used as interim ATC during upgrades and refurbishment.
