INSIGHT Recognition System is a multi-faceted software product, that provides state-of-the art recognition training, as well as facilitating operational roles in intelligence, surveillance and target tracking. This has been achieved by combining high-resolution 3-dimensional (3D) modeling of air, land and sea platforms, with multi-media files (images, digital video, sound) and a series of powerful relational databases.

Against conventional recognition training systems, INSIGHT has been designed with the following advantages:

• INSIGHT Recognition System is non-hardware dependent. That is, INSIGHT
  Recognition System does not require special computer hardware and can be run on entry-level computers.
• INSIGHT Recognition System is compatible with any Windows operating system, from Windows 95 onwards.
• Recognition training may be conducted by individual trainees browsing the library of computer generated images, multimedia files and databases associated with the platforms, or by trainees participating in tutorials and tests designed by instructors.
• INSIGHT Recognition System offers the ability to conduct dynamic recognition training of moving targets, through the use of computer animation.
• INSIGHT Recognition System offers the ability to conduct multi-spectral recognition training, through the use of infrared and night vision imagery.
• Unlike printed publications or CR-ROMs, INSIGHT Recognition System is fully customer up dateable. Software tools are provided to allow end users to add, delete and edit multi-media files and data.
• INSIGHT Recognition System is fully encrypted and password protect, allowing classified material to stored within the database.
• INSIGHT Recognition System is available in multi-lingual versions.

Although Insight represents a turnkey solution, the system can easily be adapted to add new databases, such as emitter, weapons and EOD etc. Additionally, subject to specifications, Insight can be integrated into national command and control systems to provide a powerful information, ISTAR or C4I tool.

VTR32C - Virtual Test Range - from VirtuaLabs Limited
Virtual Test Range 32 (VTR 32) is a software package that runs on PCs (Windows? 95, 98, 2000. XP or NT-4). It is capable of simulating, in real time, the operations of Search Radars, Tracking Radars, Fire Control Systems and Missile Systems (both RF and IR types), all operating against a variety targets. It also simulates typical environments including naturally occurring interference and a range of the most commonly used and most advanced Electronic Warfare techniques. VTR is a user friendly, realistic, accurate and reliable software package and is therefore a perfect tool to perform unbiased analysis, evaluations and comparisons of different designs and different systems.

The fidelity of the simulation is such that it can also be used as a basic training tool for personnel in charge of real operations. In fact the VTR files can define very accurately the real radar or the real weapon systems of interest, as well as the targets, the operational environment and above all, the EW systems against which the weapon systems must operate. The trainee interfaces with the VTR generated test environment via a typical simulated trials display providing visual and essential graphics outputs to the trainee, together with ‘man in the loop’ control of the test. He can practice facing difficult, pre-planned operational situations, making himself more prepared to face the real thing. The simulation runs can be pre-programmed using the mission planning tool, establishing the targets course, way points and the sequence of activation of the various trials assets and the EW options.
